VICTORIAN AFTERNOON TEAS

As part of your visit to the cottage, Annie Baxter and her Victorian maids offer you the chance to purchase a traditional victorian style leaf cup of tea and a slice of homemade cake.

Tea is served in a silver tea pot with a china cup and saucer. When accompanied with a slice of homemade cake from the excellent choice on offer, this is the perfect way to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon.

You can either turn up on the day or alternatively, if coming from afar or in a group, you can book a table by contacting Annie.

Teas are available most Sunday afternoons, but please check the Forthcoming Exhibitions/Events to find out when Annie will next be serving at the Cottage.

GROUP BOOKINGS AND SPECIAL EVENTS

For a small donation to the Trust, the cottage can be used as a venue for a wide variety of events.

We offer guided tours of the cottage, with presenters dressed in period costume, talking about the history of the cottage, its inhabitants and its importance to the area. The tour and presentation concludes with one of Annie's traditional Victorian teas.
