CHRIS WOOD

Chris Wood with Sally and Bryn at Sumner Beach MEDIA: Photography

SUBJECT MATTER: Landscapes, animals

BACKGROUND

Originating from the UK, Chris moved to New Zealand in 2006 with his partner Maddi and their two dogs.

He has always been a keen amateur photographer. Since moving to New Zealand and Banks Peninsula in particular, with its stunning surroundings, he has found an abundance of wonderful opportunties to capture great images.

Chris says

"The landscapes and forever changing scenery offer spectacular views, which I feel very privilaged to be a part of".

He loves photographing animals, especially images which are natural or amusing. He says Animals, are such a wonderful subject matter, as they can evoke such a range of emotions in people.

As a Trustee of Stoddart’s Cottage, Chris is fully committed to helping promote and conserve this wonderful piece of New Zealand history. Any profits made from sales of his photographs, will be donated directly to the upkeep and development of the cottage.
